I've asked that for years and apparently the answer is that would be that the average Dem Party is either too stupid to recognize proven lies OR actually likes being lied to.
But probably the real answer is that most of them nowadays belong to the 'gimme me that' collective and so they just don't CARE about being constantly lied to just as long as the promise of getting something for nothing is always there.
