The year is 2030. Andrew starts an Imgflip crypto memecoin rugpull scam, and ends up profiting millions. Imgflip's logo changes to "imglfip" on April 1st as a joke, but some people seriously think the site is now called "Imglfip" and now call it as such even when the logo gets changed back. In a partnership with SpaceX, Imgflip memes are now constantly broadcast by space billboards in lunar orbit with NASA astronauts forced to see them. When scrolling a single page in a stream, 8 of the 14 posts on there will be sponsored content unrelated to the actual topic of the stream. Imgflip decides to rebrand itself to "Reddit 2" because it basically is Reddit 2. The site hires former Reddit mods and admins to ensure the sequel is even shittier than the first one.
