Sadly, it worked the other way. We got tired of putting 67 on things and declaring that funny and now we’re putting “Great Meme Reset” on things and declaring THAT funny. They’re literally saying on Reddit that if GMR doesn’t outgrow this it will die

Well said. It will only happen if we recognise that declaring things funny makes them unfunny, and that if it's funny, it will become popular on its own without people having to promote it like they promoted 67 and all the other brainrot
