i feel like a lot of online communities especially ones related to politics in some way tend to be very manipulative regardless of where they stand politically. confirmation bias, they will tell you the wildest things are true in the same way political streams will tell you the earth is flat because when the echo in an echo chamber cant leave it gets stronger
