Any progress is good progress

Took a bit to get these ones to fit at the larger scale but if I want to preserve the joint then I'm preserving the joint damnit

Only problem is that now the backpack has to be part of the torso because of how much these stick out the back

Ok I've spammed notes since mom wants me to go to bed but I think I know everything else I need to do on this

I have some decent ideas for how I can improve on the original mechanisms while using the bigger ball joints

HOLY MOLY, how do you have the patience to render all that (idk if that's the right word)

Render is more for when you're making stuff look pretty with lighting and textures

This is just the raw stuff. Shapes and geometry. In this case it's just modeling

Also this is less complicated than it looks I made almost all of it with cubes I took chunks out of with other cubes

Once for a class we used 3D modelling software and it took alot of time, for somthinf this complicated looking. Woah. Your awesome

I don't go out of my way to draw or model it to be hot but I wasn't afraid to give it some hips

Basically my explanation for the design in lore is that being bottom heavy makes it more stable

It's a lot slimmer than other mechs so if they can shift the weight down they're gonna shift the weight down so they don't have to cram as many sensors and electronics in it

Update on the figure: my plan to finish today may have just been ruined. We went to the store and it lasted way longer than I thought so now I've gotta speedrun the rest of the model at like ten o'clock at night

Idk what the hell happened to this piece but like half the joint socket is gone
