Alright but, technically the world did make itself, to some degree
1. Solar nebula
The solar system is just a big cloud of gas and dust. At some point, gravity collapsed at the center to make the sun. The leftover gas and dust became a disc surrounding the new star.
2. Growing planet
Tiny dust grains in the disc collide and stick together. They grow into larger rocks named plantetesi

Crap, that was an accident. Let me continue:

Planetesimals. Gravity makes more debris attract to them. Constant collisions made a sphere with giant mass.
3. Core differentiation
Early Earth (the sphere) was molten because of heat from the constant collisions. Heavy metals (iron, nickel, etc) sank into the center. They formed Earth's metallic core. Lighter rock materials floated to the top, creating the mantle.
4. Crust and Atmosphere
Eventually, the outer crust cooled down, creating a granite and basalt crust. Volcanoes released gasses trapped in the other levels, creating an atmosphere. Finally, comets and asteroids carrying water crashed onto earth, forming oceans.

Some people do not see the reasons we do. Or, they refuse to. Not everyone does though. They like to mix and mash theories and statements to try and puzzle out a solution, me being an example. Both side have valid reasons, but some are under or overlooked. Like, for example, what if the big bang was caused by some other force, but then the force didn't touch anything afterward. Or, it happened by itself, but the other force saw potential and decided to come flying in. There are many possibilities, and we will never know which is true. We can only guess. So let's not discourage people from their own opinions.

Science + not science

Well, whatever was the first cause that eventually led to the universe would have to be both timeless and spaceless. I'll be waiting to hear something that is not timeless, spaceless, and not a Deity, that can cause something like that.

Talk about an unsatisfactory rebuttal.

You forget that theists do believe in science. Theists will say that science points one direction and atheists will say it points in the opposite direction.

The theist's faith is based on faith, but it is also proven by valid science.

The reason that theists say it takes more faith to be an atheist than a Christian is as follows:
1. Science points toward the theist view of the world more than it points toward a Godless world,
2. The Bible says that people are without excuse, they already know that God is real. (though I would disagree with these verses meaning that it's easier to be Christian because it's actually difficult to be a Christian.

Also, what is the beef with the cosmological argument? Why are all the atheists making fun of it but never answering it straight? It's one of many good theist arguments based of science and logic.

It proves the existence of god

Lots of things prove the existence of God.

Not to go against your logic, but may I hear examples?

What do you mean examples?

Do you mean you want me to present a couple of arguments for the existence of God that I believe proves the existence of a Deity? Well, I suppose I could do that.

Examples: The cosmological argument, the ontological argument, and the teleological argument.

Well, glad to be of service, then. I can also defend them.
