No, they definitely can’t. The “moderate” Muslims don’t want to publicly acknowledge the real history and intentions of Islam. The “extremists” are the norm in Islam and not the exception. We know that it’s a requirement of Muslims to lie to non-Muslims to try to fool them into believing otherwise.
