That wasn't it. I was forced to hold the power button down on my laptop because Windows would keep freezing and wouldn't let me shut it down properly, and I had the drive plugged in.
One time my hard drive got completely wiped out, windows itself and everything. Thankfully, my stepdad managed to buy a new one and put it in my computer and set things back up, though, but pretty much all of my old files were deleted.
I'm actually about to cry. My HDD with a SHITLOAD of gaming stuff isn't working, and it is Windows 11 that f**ked it up. You do not understand how much shit I had saved on there, I even had some games that were EXTREMELY rare and hard to find, and I will never be able to get those ever again.
