catnip plant #1: I did have to prune it afterwards as it was flowering and you should never let herbs flower because once they fully flower they lose all their flavor and start producing fewer leaves making them only useful for seed production at that point. This is the time when you start seeing buds like the one in this image to get rid of it to save the flavor of your plant.
