Do you even know how wildfire management works? If it was started naturally, you need to let it burn to reset the ecosystem. Many trees require a fire to reproduce such as the lodgepole pine and fire fills the ground with nutrients, allowing new plants to grow.
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park suffered a wildfire this summer that burned 80% of the south rim, the most popular part of the park. The forest service could only protect buildings and keep the fire contained so it wouldn't spread to private property. The ecosystem of the park needed a reset at some point and nature decided the time was right.
Although it is sad to see wildfires burn and destroy scenic locations, it is needed so that nutrients are recycled, the ecosystem is reset and larger fires don't come through later and cause even more destruction(That's what prescribed burns are for but the forest service would rather them happen naturally from like a lighting strike)
