What the US really needs is for the user market to dry up. Sure, suppliers are among the world's most evil people, but drug users are among the world's dumbest. Education is the key.

It is addictive and addicts just make more addicts. Were they able to stop alcohol or sugar before that? If sugar was not part of our daily meals we would be way more healthy and we had a lot less energy to make foolish things like wars etc. Sugar is addictive too. Please do not deny! Our body loves high energy food and our mind hates pain and sadness that is why those things are addictive. It is not just the affinity to receptors.
Stopping the traffic is a very good step forward. It does not stop big pharma though.
