Ridiculous hyperbole once abortion is used as a moral reference. Predictable.
"Republicans have previously been slowly cutting off access to birth control, by allowing insurers to deny birth control based on religious views." Oh no, not religious freedom. The worst... How many insurers presently deny "birth control" due to religious views of the company? And are we talking cycle-modification pills, or are we talking morning-after pill? Big difference.
I just checked all four of the major health insurance companies that my employer offers coverage through. All four of them offer prescription coverage through CVS, which in turn offers coverage / access to birth control and the morning-after pill. If i wanted to be insured by a company that does NOT cover these things due to my own religious beliefs, I'd have to actively go it alone and self-insure. It is actually harder to be covered by a company that does not pay for birth control than it is to be covered by one that does.
And oh, even if someone was covered by an insurer who does not pay for birth control, they still have the ability to pay for the prescription themselves.
"Abortion is a medical procedure." Whatever you gotta tell yourself to justify murder.
All the rest is the typical, copypaste fringe category nonsense used for decades now to try and justify infanticide for convenience. Remember "abortion should be legal and rare?" Of course you don't.
