I liked your point that fascism is primarily a political ideology, while communism is more of an economic ideology (with the political component, of course, that communism claims that it's morally right for the people who do the labor to control the capital). I'd argue, though that it's one of the overlapping Venn diagrams, not the circle within the circle that you're proposing. Some communism has been fascistic (looking at you, PRK).
