The question is to where though... Deport them to work in America, or deport them to go back home, I have a hunch both have been done. When your state governor braggs about how much money the illegal prison will bring, you can clearly see corruption, and the irony is that he has been accused of in the past hiring illegal workers himself. Housing them in prisons in America for months to years doesn't seem like they are being sent home, seems like a 3 hots cot, and free health, dental , and vision.... And state governments are being incentivised to house them in prison till court cases and paper work is sorted out .. sounds like a very logical thing to do for someone
