According to an alternate definition of furry, the term can also be applied to someone with has furry fetishes or similar fetishes and is obsessed with them. By the definition, a lot of fetish lovers are furries not in the sense of being part of the furry fandom but in the sense of gooning to furry fetishes. And that is what the meme is about.

Ok I understand, and tbh I agree. Normalizing fetishes is f**ked up, furry fetishes included, and sadly people are getting more and more public about it.
