One wonders if any Socialism/Marxism worshiping leftist ever studied the history of the old Soviet Union and Communist China . . . that is before China embraced capitalism.

Just what about an economic system based around private individuals owning the means of production and orienting those means towards the ends of profit and wealth accumulation, makes it the only system where computers can be invented?
Not just invented but endlessly and swiftly improved. Capitalism is competition and competition is innovation and innovation is invention.. Socialism and Marxism is stagnation.
Capitalism is increasing wealth inequality, exploitation environmental decline, and moral degeneracy.
Socialism is liberty, socialism is democracy, socialism is freedom, and socialism is virtuous labour.
People who have never sweated for a living are the first to call work virtuous labor when it is done for free . . . as under socialism. It's only when laborers are PAID that socialists call work exploitive. If leftists want to live like kings then they need to LEARN how to work for a living . . . and then do it.
In capitalism, it is increasingly impossible to work for a living. I'd like you to say those kinds of things to the millions of young people who are searching desperately for work, but cannot find any, as capitalist parties the world over cut employment to benefit their donors.

Think about the most successful private companies in this world. Amazon, Meta, etc. They all got rich by buying off their competitors in their infancy, so they could have a monopoly on those consumer goods.
Leave to where? In this world, there are two kinds of countries: capitalist exploitER countries, and capitalist exploitED countries. There is nowhere to flee.
However, once the inevitable socialist revolution in the imperial heartlands begins, we will have plenty of places to go.
