I think it's a bug they never intend to fix. They must have some detection for when the vote buttons get updated but it gets updated both ways. It's dumb. Yk what's dumber? The devs not fixing it, and instead putting effort into making Imgflip more unusable, like making it so you can only add one text box to gifs now
