Westbrook Pegler?

He was a newspaper columnist that opposed the New Deal, labor unions, anti-lynching legislation, and civil rights legislation. He supported states’ rights and wrote articles for the John Birch Society. He would probably be considered a populist. Trying to get info on Pegler is difficult, at best.
