It's not just the lives. It's also that stupid puzzle in the castle where you need to go to 1 of the 3 paths and if don't choose the correct one, you restart. It doesn't restart the entire puzzle though, but the timer just rushes you as you fail 100 times. STUPID PUZZLE!
