TDS is strong with people in that area huh? I'm sure they'll end up just as bad if not worse than where I live. Defund the police is still strong with the city council.

It has some of the strongest TDS in the entire country. There’s only a small percentage who don’t have that mindset. I’m just glad that I don’t live there to have to experience her brand of (in)justice firsthand.

You're lucky. The last big thing our City Council did is they held back on housing for people with severe mental illness in a prominent part of the city. Without any public input, with a month later opening date. Luckily due to the number of record requests the project was cancelled. But of course they're looking for other places in the city, even though we already have more than one of those supportive, transitional, or rehabilitation housing per mile now, and our City is not that big.

Thanks. I’m sorry to hear that. I live near a few bigger cities that are predominantly left. Thankfully not nearly as bad as places like NYC, LA and Chicago are though. The smaller town that I live in has a Democrat mayor, but we’re too small of a town to get too crazy. I live in a red state, so the governor keeps things from getting as bad as they get in blue states.

Again you're lucky, and thank you for the sentiment. The community likes my perspective, and I feel they really need to know what the City's really up too, compared to the staff reports the public is fed. It's that bad.

You're absolutely right. Our mayor had an opinion piece taken down recently because she didn't like one part even though it was true. Although the article was not flattering of her either.

More difficult to find, you mean, right? Our council is so woke, they seem to be stuck there. Probably because they feel it benefits them. And our mayor is appointed by the council not elected.

Right, that’s what I meant. It really doesn’t matter what level of political office these people run for. Most of them are only looking out for their own self interests and the interests of their handlers. That goes for Democrats and Rinos both. With some exceptions.
