I'm glad you see that. Nancy Pelosi is the poster child for the worst of corruption. Her stock "investments" were almost 6 times better than market performance. Why else would anyone stay in Congress into their 80s? AOC? From bartender to millionaire who won't submit all the required paperwork, launders money through her non-husband/partner/campaign manager/husband, or whatever. Republicans? Yup, they got 'em too.
This is not how the nation was designed to be governed, we are supposed to be self-governing with a political structure supporting that within a moral, law abiding citizenry. It's bad, but communists take it to another level. Fidel Castro impoverished his serfs and died a billionaire. Hugo Chavez decimated the individual wealth of Venezuela and... died a billionaire. Maduro? Same thing, different day. Luna in Brazil? Tried, convicted and imprisoned for corruption, but, his corrupt buddies that he placed on the supreme court got him out and "re-elected" over citizen cries of election fraud and they did to Bolsonaro what our thugs tried to do to Trump.
