It's lack of God / absence of God.
When you have God, God is GOOD.

Hawkins was one of the greatest scientific minds that helped enabled humanity to advance further

Can you imagine believing in evolution, just a complete coincidence of things? Meaning chaos over order.
Look at the human body, symmetry, that's purposeful, not an accident,
the genius in this whole infrastructure that 1 human being still this day cannot fully comprehend, and you believe this is an accident. Even you as a human when you create something there is a thought process and purpose behind it. Accidents would look like moosh (ironically what Hawkins turned into) and would never amount to an infrastructure as complex and high functioning as "life" inside humans and nature all around.
For example, Albert Einstein, he was great, he advanced humanity further.
Hawkins was misleading people.

evolution is not pure coincidence. It was made to make humans as good as possible to survive. Also, Evolution is not an accident all lofe on earth was formed using this very process. Yes it was purposeful, no it was not made by one being. Even though evolution makes mistakes doesn't mean that "god" made all life as we have clear, hard proof that evoultion made all of us. And even if "god" made all life he still make mistakes; think of people with disabilities, people with bad eyesight,and many other examples. If you come up with proof that "god" made us then I will belive it, but until then I will belive that evolution created us. (And no, a book and some paintings are not proof)

Well if you've already decided that you believe the evolution "theory" because it's legally not allowed to be called a law, and you're happy without God, you're not lost or in bad health because of it, then don't change anything. There's not need.
