I agree. They might end up doing that with Commie Mamdani running things now. He’ll most likely turn NYC into the ultimate sanctuary city.

It should absolutely be considered a beach head. Access to a northern border, international air and sea. Importing people will become easier. Transporting equipment and bad actors across the country will also be easier.
