afforded benefit of the doubt and that's what
I'm going to do. So you believe that the Constitution & Bill of
Rights are sacred things given us by the
Founding Fathers to defend, that the
Strictures, Rights and Protections enumer-
ated therein form the backbone of what it
means to be a U.S. citizen, do you not? You
want law and order, rule of law and you're
against criminals being allowed to get away
with, escape commensurate punishment for
their crimes, aren't you? You believe in the Ten
Commandments, correct? You value stoicism
and decry people who constantly b**** and
whine like spoiled, poor-me everything's-
terrible, I'm-the-victim, hate-spewing cry-
babies over every little thing, right? In short,
you're dead set against everything Trump has
demonstrated himself to be. And yet you contort yourselves into whatever
shape is required to 'splain away Trump's
violation of the Commandments, his open,
blatant criminality. You cheer his pardon,
release of violent criminals, kid-touchers,
violent criminal kid-touchers and cop-killers
back into the wild, backslap and high-five as
he uses the military and ICE to violate the 1st,
4th, 5th and 14th Amendments, go into but-
muh-politico-emotional-investment defensive
mode as he violates the law, allows and/or
directs his underlings to ignore the courts,
usurps Congress' Article 1 powers, attempts
to override the Constitution by Executive Order,
uses the DOJ to persecute his political enemies
(all the things rightwing pundits spent years
screeching would happen under a Democrat),
pushes to "acquire" (reads as "steal") $230M
"recompense" from the national coffers without
going through the courts (can't very well risk
opening his claim for damages up to discovery,
judicial analysis), pushes the U.S. ever closer to
becoming the Stars & Stripes-shrouded version
of Putin's authoritarian, kleptocratic Russia. Yes, Trump is corrupt, a corruptor, a defiler
of almost everything he touches, who seeks
out other criminals for the express purpose
of placing them in positions of power, who's
proven himself to be everything you abhor,
blatantly, openly doing exactly the things you
so fear from a democrat POTUS. And you keep charging
to his defense... ...because he's
corrupted you too.
