The Witcher Season Four.

I already know I will NOT appreciate the ridiculous change of cast. How's the story line?

The production quality if really good. Set design, costumes and make-up are also really good. Fight choreography is good too. It’s everything we’ve been waiting for.

But, the biggest draw for me was the Geralt/Yennefer storyline. So, I’m trying to adjust. You can’t just swap out the guy in a love story—it doesn’t work…for me anyway. I really liked Henry Cavill. I miss him.

Vesimir is a different actor as well. I liked the other guy better.

And I guess Ciri is gay? 😖 WHY? Is it essential to the storyline? Time will tell. 🤔

He can't compete with Cavill: not his looks, not his voice, and certainly not his attitude or leadership abilities.

Yup. With you. The voice dub was cheese whiz. I finished out the season today. It was still pretty good. The graphic design and animation teams carried the weight for this one. I can’t wait until next season. I hope Villgafartz dies THE MOST horrible death. I hate him so much. 🤣

I haven't find wished the season yet. It's taking a lot to motivate me since they switched actors.

Henry is a really good actor, who is committed to his craft. I love that he cares about the integrity of the storytelling. Still bummed he couldn’t make it through the series. But, there was so much other talent present in season 4.

Did you see him in the Tudors series? I really liked how his character grew as a person. He does seem to care about the storytelling. I wish more actors were like him. Curious...what is your favorite role he played?

The Tudors was a great series as well. I could rewatch just to focus on the costume design. I love movies! All that work—and so many moving parts that have to come together. Amazing!

Geralt is my favorite so far. Which is why I was so irked. Do you have a favorite?

Technically not movies…but, you get the point 🤭

I like all the period drama series surrounding The Tudors (The White Queen, The White Princess, to the Spanish Princess). I didn't really like The Medici's because it was too political for me to follow. Although it was way too much like a Harlequin romance I did enjoy the Outlander series. But my very favorite is Penny Dreadful. I can rewatch once a year. I liked the Borgias with Jeremy Irons...he was so good! I did like the Witcher but it didn't pull me in like the others did. I'm going to rewatch the entire series, though. I'm always looking for new mini series...maybe you could suggest some.
