“He’s lost… all I felt was Saike.” Rea sighs
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE WAS NOTHING YOU CAN DO?!” Nova shout in agony, “THIS MAN CAN’T BE DEAD, HE’S EXPERIENCED THE RAW POWER OF THE COSMOS, HOW CAN HE BE DEAD BY ELECTRICITY?!”
“I’m sorry but he seemed susceptible to electricity-“ Rea tries to explain but is suddenly cut off by Saike
“He experienced an ungodly amount of electricity, That can’t happen, not even a normal bolt of lightning can do that in a direct hit.” Saike exclaims, “This is some thousand times worse”
Nova slams his fist on the table and teleports away in a fit of anger.
“This was Xerxes… this was not the man we fought several years ago, he was an entirely different creature, It started according to plan, dislodging the space stone out of his back, when his strength and power suddenly skyrocketed. This was no man… it was a monster” The Collector states exasperatedly
The Collector cough after speaking as if he’s out of breath.
“Xerxes would never do that!” Inkmatas retorts
Rea walks toward the Collector and examines him.
“You’re staying unusually still, what happened to you?” Rea asks
“I’ve seen better days.” The Collector says with a smirk
As Rea examines the Collector she gasps.
“You… You seem to be missing most of your liver and your spleen!” Rea remarks
“DAD NO!!” Inkmatas shouts in fear
Rea begins to heal the Collector.
“When I and Inkmatas spoke to Xerxes, he seemed to speak with much thought and subtlety, not the primal, even animalistic monster you’re speaking of.” Rea exclaims
“Xerxes is gone, I don’t know what can stop this…… thing, now” The Collector sighs
Several weeks pass since the failed attack on Fit 1176B, Now the Collector pours over ancient texts, and Inkmatas watching over him. One day the a broadcasted message interrupts their studies.
“This is an emergency request from the people of Novo Nammu, please help us, a hideous multi-limbed creature with what looks like it’s wearing Lord Xerxes’s armor, has appeared rushing around, killing and eating the citizens on the planet including men, women, and children. We don’t know where our lord and savior is but we fear that this creature may have consumed him. Please send help, there is many of us hiding in bunkers across towns from this creature but also from the mutated animals. Send help, please, I repeat, send help!” A civilian in a bunker cries
