Nah… the victim was a complete loser. Even the boys in Juvie hated him.

The victim wasn’t a psychopath, but the (presumed) ringleader of the bashing was. He waited 8 years to bash the victim after taking a very fast disliking to the victim when they were 14 and about 16. I can honestly say that the only definite psychopath I’ve known, but everyone crosses paths with at least one sociopath in their lives, without knowing it.

I've lived with psychopaths in my childhood. Sociopaths in my adulthood. It's amazing how well they can self camouflage in society. But behind closed doors, watch out!!

Psychopathy is extremely rare, that’s why I only claim to have known one. Successful sociopaths do camouflage very well though.

Perhaps "completely psychotic" is rare but psychotic tendencies are far to common.

Personality disorders are much more common. I wonder how many people have a diagnosis of psychopathy only after the early signs (adolescence) of personality disorders are ignored and untreated. Such as borderline or histrionic.
