A) Legal Gambling is fine. Statistically, house wins based upon Probability or odds.
B) Illegal rigged Gambling with Fraud, Theft, dealing off the bottom of the deck, point shaving, rebound statistics manipulating, over and under scoring, faking injuries to keep under, etc. etc. is not
A is gambling, and B is gambling.
One is legal, the other is not and is cheating.
A is not the equivalent to B
This is why NO Professional Sports teams were allowed in VEGAS historically.
It is also why the PGA avoided Nevada like the plague
