Thank you, that just felt so good. Inside I know that it's a form of communication and I sometimes get so overwhelmed I just can't help it, but it still feels like I'm just getting on everyone's nerves, keeping my classmates from studying properly. And asking for accommodations feels like I'm just telling everyone to do things for me and I'm afraid they might think I'm just lazy. Which makes it even worse, as you can imagine.
But I actually do have some people who understand. I get along with most of my classmates, they are mostly pretty understanding. I also have a close circle of four people (including me) who are just so understanding and supportive. They help me whenever I have a meltdown. I'm so grateful for having them and a Math teacher who is just as supportive and who I'm actually friends with.
This comment probably felt like infodumping (I have difficulties writing short comments, my thoughts always get so complicated and long, in a good way) (and also some anecdotes).
The point is: This really made me feel better about myself. It reminded me of the fact that nothing is wrong with me, something that I forget about, especially in phases in which I don't feel so good. Please keep posting stuff like that, maybe you can make another autistic person feel better about themselves. ❤️
