For one, the actual guardian that Outer and Eliora fought is not a simple training robot, it's a ginormous machine. I'm fairly certain it's corrupted. The only vulnerable spot is the eye, it wouldn't be possible to kill it by just wacking it.
For two, I gave Wubboc permission to make a parody of my textbox chapter and to use the guardian. I did not give anyone else permission for this.
For three, Outer and Eliora both have a LV of 0. They have to take on this giant robot where they both have 20hp and can die in 1-2 hits. You probably have a LV of 30+ by now. You'd be able to tank a few hits and deal more damage.
For four, Outer didn't just have to survive, he had to make sure his sister survived because only Outer can use Save points. Otherwise, the battle would've ended within 10 resets. The only reason it was "the hardest battle in my life" (which was never ever stated anyway) was because any mistake meant resetting.
