Because it isn't true. It's incredibly insulting to law enforcement officers who are being maligned and mistreated. Whenever dishonest armchair politicians try to say that--in general--cops are the bad guys (or Jack-booted thugs, etc.) it spreads the lie that leads to stupid people trying to kill the police. Like the idiot in Dallas who started shooting an ICE van, then killed himself. If you didn't hear that story, you haven't heard the dumbest part--the moron actually killed two illegal immigrant detainees, not cops! But it's a result of his mental illness combined with propagandist crap like this meme.

And yes, ICE is focusing first on the truly dangerous illegals, although they're picking up some others in the process. I would encourage you to read some legitimate news sources that aren't out to burn society down. Sorry if I come across rude--I just passionately despise slander of LEO's, which is what this is.

It is true because they are actually doing those things. People are free to criticize the police when they do things wrong, but that doesn't mean criticizing The police will lead to people trying to kill them. Also, I'm not even talking about police. I'm talking about the goons Who work for ice

No ice is not focusing on dangerous illegal immigrants. They are going to courthouses and Home Depot's and even churches trying to find people they think are here illegally and then harassing and intimidating and arresting them often times without confirming they are even here illegally. About 75% of the people they are arresting and deporting have no criminal record beyond just being here illegally which isn't even a criminal issue. It's a civil matter.

I'm not sitting here saying every single cop is evil and needs to be attacked or killed or thrown in prison. But a whole lot of what we are seeing right now with ice agents is very disturbing and not even just wrong. It is often crossing the line into illegal behavior.

I am all for deporting people who are here illegally if they're not productive citizens, especially if they are subsisting on welfare. But, while I disagree with your assessment of ICE, I truly appreciate the tone with which you've replied. Too many people across the political spectrum are uninterested in dialogue and only want to be a blunt instrument. So I commend you sir (or ma'am) for continuing to express yourself and trying to defend your beliefs. I think we'd easily be friends if we were neighbors. 😃
