was riding to school.
i see a car pulling out of driveway.
i brake. brakes fail.
i put my feet down in order to use friction to stop. it was raining that morning so my feet couldnt help much.
i swerve my bike so i can try to go up their connection to the road so they can see me and brake
they dont see me and dont brake
my bike hits their car at a slow speed
my foot goes under one of the car wheels
i cryout in pain, pointing to my foot while frantically asking them to reverse
they reverse
i go up to their window and we both profusely apologise
he asks me if im okay
i tell him it hurts a bit but should be fine
i leave
he leaves
