>We're doing all we can
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHHHHT...
No, Disney, no you are not doing "all you can", nor have you learned from your mistakes from the last 10-12 years. Current-year Marvel comics, Disney in-house animation studio, Star Wars since late 2017, most MCU films after phase 3, (not counting stuff such as Wandavision or "What if...", mainly because they were never marketed nor intended for release in theaters), and even PIXAR are struggling with audiences and the box office. In certain cases, such as with SOLO, Disney Episode IX, Live Action Snow White, Live Action Little Mermaid, Wakanda Forever, Thor: Love and Thunder, Strange World, The Marvels, Eternals, She-Hulk, Lightyear, and Elio, they outright BOMBED at the box office, and not just domestically.
Oh, and the movie Tron: Ares is almost nothing, if anything at all, compared to Tron 1982, Tron: Legacy, and the short-lived animated TV series Tron: Uprising. Tron: Ares is largely nostalgia-baiting and flashy lights: Its a husk of what could have been, overall. There is little of the Grid aka digital world, and some of the actors, particularly Mr. Jared Leto, deliver so shallow a performance that his suit has more characterization. Really and truly, Tron is the often mismanaged and mishandled Homegrown of Disney whose potential for ending as a solid trilogy was utterly WASTED!
