I'm afraid the roads already beat his train to it a long time ago.

America's ICE is beating him too: https://www.cnn.com/2025/09/30/us/dallas-ice-facility-shooting-detainee-dies

So you prefer human rights violating police who could easily inflict such horrific violence on you as well rather than a nice luxurious train ride? You really have a depraved mentality. Also America's Amtrak trains are shit, with lots of slow and delayed service on shoddy rail infrastructure. The only thing America beating Germany at is being like the nazis.

Why take a train when you can fly or drive. Both are superior modes of transportation

Cars sometimes have traffic jams and getting on a plane takes a while. Trains are fast, trafficless, and public sometimes.

And you don’t think trains ever get delayed…

Getting in a plane may take a bit but I can get across the entire country in 5 hours…no train here can do that

Not when you're stuck in traffic. Lots of train lines in Germany and other European countries are letting people get around without needing a car which results in less cars on the roads which results in less traffic jams and makes it convenient for drivers. Also train stations in Europe don't make you go through lots of security checks like airports with the TSA that confiscate your toothpaste tube or water bottle.

Well, if I am ever so downtrodden and broke that I am forced to live in Europe, I’ll try a train….

With Trump turning the economy to shit you unfortunately might become so downtrodden and broke enough to move to Europe for a better life, after all European countries do have lower unemployment and are even considered more free market than the US according to the The Heritage Foundation's index of economic freedom.

I just spent a couple weeks in Italy and Greece last month. If I’m that downtrodden and broke (doubt that will ever happen under Trump as it’s just lib fear mongering) I’d just go ahead and kill myself.

Not Greece or Italy, those countries have poor economies. Germany, Denmark and Norway are a lot more ideal and have a lot more stronger economies to live in. Countries in Eastern Europe are more impoverished as opposed to Western Europe countries.

And none of them are places I’d ever leave America for permanently

And there's another thing, if you drink as much as one beer while driving, the police will promptly arrest you immediately. Trains have an entire restaurant car where you can eat and get drunk all you want. Driving on the open road, you would have to pull over at a gas station to use the shitty washroom and buy an overpriced item you never even wanted just to be allowed to use it and you would also need to pullover to a motel and shell out cash when you need to sleep. Trains have entire sleeping cars.

Planes have drinks and eats as well and you can bring food on if you want, but the pilot isn’t allowed to partake, same as a driver in a car should not drink and drive

If I’m going somewhere that would require sleeping on a train, I’d be a moron to not just take a flight and be done with it
0 ups, 1d,

Yes planes do have drinks and food, plane pilots, train drivers and car drivers aren't allowed to partake in the consumption of food and drink but the difference is that you the one trying to get somewhere in the vehicle, you are not the plane pilot or train driver who's not allowed to eat or drink. With a car you are the driver and you can't eat or drink, on a train or plane however you have someone else doing the driving and you can eat and drink as much as you want.

I don’t want to be in a plane where the pilot has been drinking. I don’t want to be on a train where the engineer has been drinking. I refuse to be in a car where the driver has been drinking.

If I can get there in 2 hours or less I’ll drive. Otherwise I taking Delta

Are you dense? I never said you had to get in a plane, train or car where the driver is drunk, I said a driver who hasn't been drinking does all the driving for you while you don't have to do anything driving and you can drink all you want.

Why would I want someone else to drive?

So you don't have to get tired driving yourself and you can eat, drink and sleep all you want unless you actually like driving yourself.

To be fair, considering how violent people are against them, I don't blame them for arming themselves. And before you say I'm spouting BS, people have threatened (and actually did) murder them, doxxed the ones they could, and threatened their families. If I were in their shoes and had to choose between myself and my family, or some crazy protestors and violent illegals, I'd choose the former any time.

I don't support murdering anyone but you should also know if ICE agents are having violence against them, it's not unprovoked like the ICE agents were 'innocent' they are inflicting horrific violence on people who more often than not turn out to be innocent and not even illegal immigrants.

...Let me guess, you watch CNN? You do know that they're even more partisan than Fox is, right?

And you talk of "horrific violence"? Well, the VAST majority of that (as in, outside of a few fringe cases) that's against either the worst kinds of people (as in, the kinds of illegals that'd have no hope of legal migration with their rep sheet, such as killers and rapists) or crazy people that'd go above and beyond to defend illegals by attacking ICE, such as the various people who've actively MURDERED ICE agents.

Are there a few cases where excessive force was used? Sure, but with the sheer number of arrests they've gotta do to clean Biden's mess up, it's bound to happen. But considering nearly half of the US is basically demonizing them, comparing them to the SS, threatening to doxx them (with others threatening to kill them and their families, leading to a terrifying combination), and in some cases actively murdering them, I think a little paranoia is warranted. With people on the top dehumanizing them on an hourly basis and crazy people on the bottom, it's an incredibly dangerous job right now. And, again, that's not even counting that ICE is currently focusing on the worst kinds of illegals first. The kind that'd put a knife in your chest for shits and giggles. "Innocent" my ass. And if they're really not illegal migrants, they'd have nothing to fear. Just comply, let your ID go through the system, and they'd let you go if you're really a legal citizen.

So when someone addresses an issue of over the top government violence, you arrogantly respond with "you watch CNN" I don't watch CNN, addressing issues of government violence is not a right vs left partisan issue. It is one thing to detain illegal immigrants who are actual criminals such as murderers and rapists but ICE is wrongfully arresting and murdering the innocent as well. Also "just comply if you don't want government violence" makes you sound just like leftists who defended covid tyranny. Not having immigration papers in order shouldn't have someone deemed a hardened violent criminal, I knew a guy from Brazil who originally came to Canada on a student visa but stayed longer than the permitted but he didn't do any crimes, he worked a job in the construction industry and he later got his immigration papers sorted out. I am for immigrants getting their papers sorted out but they don't deserve horrific violence inflicted on them and they deserve a chance to get their papers sorted without government violence.

Simply put, if they don't fight back like rabid animals, they don't have to worry about getting punched in the face. And considering the sheer amount of crazies who're so indoctrinated by the far left that they think anything ICE does is "racist" and "violent" to the point you hear about attacks on their agents or their families like every other week, I don't blame them for getting a bit paranoid. Basic FAFO.

And while the focus is on the worst right now, the basic fact remains that ALL illegal migrants are there, well, ILLEGALLY. If you raid an apartment complex filled with criminals, you don't let the ones that only stole from a supermarket go if you got them alongside the guys that stab people for shits and giggles. Both need to have their punishment, albeit on different degrees of it.

Take the violent illegals sent to El Salvador for example. They're the worst of the worst, so it stands to reason they get sent to prison on top of getting deported. And the non-violent illegals? Well, they simply get sent home with what's basically an international trespass. If someone breaks into your home, it's only logical they get kicked out, even if they didn't break the law any further.

As for the supposed "kids in cages" thing (which Trump's first term inherited from Obama), or other similar things (such as one of the rare cases that the Biden administration enforced immigration law and arrested illegals and they were left to bake in the hot sun), I've seen images and such of places like Alligator Alcatraz. With the kinds of amenities they got there, it might as well be a hotel. And not one of those that barely qualify as such either, but one where I myself wouldn't mind staying if it turned into a hotel. And don't give me any BS about them feeding the illegals to the alligators, the only way something like that can happen is if the illegals actively break out and dive into the swamp.
