Funny thing is, whenever the crusades are mentioned, they always say it's about christians taking land back from the muslims, but conveniently leave out the fact crusaders had brutally slaughtered jews, forced jews and pagans to convert, and commited sectarian violence. After all, many religious people are hypocrites who cherry pick all the good things the people of their religion has done and ignore all the barbaric acts they've done because "Other religions are full of barbaric people! There's no way our religion is full of barbaric people!"
