So basically Muslims make up stuff about Ishmael that can't be easily proven. Here's what I do know - Jews(Isaac), Arabs(Ishmael), and Christians (Anyone Who Believed In Christ) were kind of sort of getting along in the region. . .until Muhammad and his marauder cult came to town. . .

Yes, ISAAC had a covenant with GOD Ishmael didn't, Then Jesus ( I AM ) made a covenant with Peter .. Peter's role in the early church is pivotal, as he was one of the Twelve Apostles and one of the first leaders of the Church. His calling by Jesus to be a disciple and his subsequent transformation into a proclaimer of the Gospel are central to the understanding of the church's formation.

What I find amazing is that God created the most complex (to us anyway) thing called the Universe that we still can't barely comprehend on a good day yet came to Earth and gave the most important Message and Instruction on getting saved in the most simplest way possible.
