I have to watch out for my female cat whenever I open the refrigerator door. She likes to stick her head in there. She’s jumped on the bottom shelf a couple of times, when there was enough room.

My dogs would barge me aside and stick their snouts in everything when I returned from a shopping trip until a came up with a cunning plan.
I used to bring back two bones from the butchers to keep them fully occupied and leave me in peace

That’s a good idea. Always have something to draw away their attention. My last dog always thought that every food item that was being made was for her. Every time a can was opened or a box was opened her tail would be wagging at full force. She’d always act like she was starving to death even if it hadn’t been long since she had eaten.
