Go to the source of the image to see if it's protected. Usually, all images used without permission can be considered copyright infringement if the owner objects to it.
Good idea to use a licensed image if you want to publish something.

See the image caption? It's the name of the reporter, which means it's her image. There's no mention of a license, which means she didn't care enough to let other people use the image (she probably wouldn't care if we do). You can ask her if you want to use this exact image to publish.

One thing you can do is use images off Wikipedia. They're all either public, or have a license allowing for use. There might be similar images of the same school there, because there would defintely be a page for the incident that article is about.

This also extends to Wikimedia too, which is the image repository site for Wikipedia and its sister sites. Plenty of license-free cool photos can be found there

The song is about a guy who he gets abused and dumped by his ex girlfriend so he commits a school shooting on the school his ex teaches at. The cover shows a school where an actual shooting was committed recently.
