He can claim he is upholding the law all he wants, he is delaying the release of the Epstein files and will be on the wrong side of history when everything does come out. I get he wants to preserve his career and it would be hard for anyone to intentionally ruin their own career but if no one is above the law and he believes that he would have released the files.
