This quote is often used by people who complain about certain specific words such as the S-word and the F-word. But how do we know exactly what words God considers inappropriate? How do we know that our lists of offensive words have any overlap whatsoever with God's list? Just because YOU don't like a word doesn't mean God also dislikes it.
Eventually, you're going to hear a bad word whether you want to or not. It's not a question of if, it's a question of when. Even if you don't listen to songs with bad words, watch movies or shows with bad words, or play games with bad words, eventually you'll hear someone say a bad word out loud (if you haven't already). According to Kraft, 74% of mothers admit to saying bad words in front of their children.

If people say bad words, don't complain about it to them unless you're obligated to, because at best they'll ignore you, at worst they'll say things like:
"It's my First Amendment right!"
"It's the only way I can get through to you/him/her/them!" (Most people don't appreciate anonymous armchair quarterbacks providing unwanted advice. You're probably wrong and they're probably right.)
"YOU'RE the one who (insert action worse than saying a bad word here)!"
"You're lucky I don't/didn't (insert action worse than saying a bad word here, such as breaking something or hurting you or someone else physically)!"
If you don't like it when people say bad words to you, try doing the following instead of complaining:
1. Stop disappointing them.
2. Stop disrespecting them.
3. Stop pushing their buttons.
4. Stop driving them crazy.
