I recreated my icon in a generic pixel art editor. This is what we could do with higher resolution and custom colors.
The maximum resolution for our current icons (without pro) is 5x5. The recreation I made is 15x15.
Right now, we only have 3 free colors: grey, blue, and orange. I think we should change that. Add in the color picker used in the meme generator so we can pick from more than this small and bland selection.
We should also be able to have more than one color in our icons. This would allow us to express ourselves better, and it would open up the opportunity to create more legitimate profile pictures, instead of the ugly looking icons we have now.
And finally, we should remove the paywall, at least for this. All it does is cut casual users off from better creative expression.
