Eclipseon is said to be born when an Eevee absorbs the smothered radiance of the sun hidden by night’s veil. Unlike Umbreon, which thrives in natural shadow, Eclipseon embodies the rare phenomenon of an eclipse — a darkness so overwhelming it can blot out the heavens.
Its gaze carries the same danger as staring into a solar eclipse; those who meet its eyes suffer dizziness, headaches, or even temporary blindness. Ancient texts warn that villages once considered its arrival a harbinger of disaster.
Where Lunareon guides the lost through dreamlike light, Eclipseon leads them astray in choking shadows, leaving wanderers stranded in endless night. The two are bound as eternal rivals — the dream-illuminating moon and the sight-stealing eclipse.
