Struggling with any sin not just sexual stuff doesn't damn you. To struggle means you want to be rid of whatever sin you particularly get hit with. I personally have had much sexual abuse dating back to 21 mo old and have a fetish issue but I'm working through healing with God and fight against giving into it but occasionally give in but confess and get back up and keep trying. My cussing issue dates back to age 10 and is especially rough since the tongue is a reflex organ but I hate it and want to be rid of it and confess daily and fight. It sincerely sucks to have sin bondage that dates back to childhood that you had no choice in originally. We're not responsible for that but for giving in and not fighting it which like I said can be anything not just sex & I had a spell of anger at God after repressed memory surfaced but got through it & now see the beauty He brought from the ashes of wicked people that is useful for other beautiful people that I never could've known or helped had it not happened. However wallowing is the motive of wanting to keep it, justifying it and refusing to heal or ask God to reveal anything that contributed so you can begin to heal. With any sin that is wallowed in it leads to hell including Pharisee sin of deep pride they hold onto but also this and others. God is not only grace, mercy & love but also hates sin, is holy and sovereign & can't tolerate sin wallowing in heaven. Heaven can't exist with sin. The heart motive is where He looks to.
