So what confusing her3 is that (3+2)x5 = 25, but 25 isn't one of the answers. What's dumb is that its there, they just went the extra mile and put it in differently. 5^2 is just 5x5 which is 25.

Ye it is. What was confusing was that the answer to the top qeustion is 25. But 25 wasn't on there, but it was in different form, because 5 to the 2nd power equals 25, its just dumb that they did that to throw you off.
