The final mission alone brings this game down from decent to bad. After a few good missions, the final level has an open area with no cover, no health packs or armor, and the most bullet sponge bosses in the entire game who can kill you in 2 hits from across the map.
Literally the IGN guide tells you to go back to the previous level to get another gun that I should have had to make it through this level. I’M NOT GOING THROUGH THAT AGAIN.
Ok I’m back to my original assessment. Far Cry 2 is the only good game in the series.
