i get you are trying to imply it means his speeches are hateful, but i the reality is Kirk was gracious, courteous, and effective. and the media can't let the ignorant masses see him or hear him without their editorial influence.

I don’t disagree Charlie was a good debator and had some good humor but some of the stuff he said was a little hateful and he did at times spread misinformation
