But you maybe weren't diagnosed in childhood. Maybe you show traits of masking which makes the autism harder to diagnose. You're also not the only one who was overlooked in autism diagnosis. Many undiagnosed girls (excluding me because I do not know how to mask my symptoms and I show off all my interests) mask symptoms to fit in their peers.
3 years old. I was 3 years old when I was diagnosed with autism. (You probably didn't meet an autistic girl who was diagnosed early but maybe girls who mask their traits to fit in which makes autism harder to diagnose)
I didn't know what apple sauce was back in 2013. (I'll be 16 years old next month). I also have repetitive interests. And I'm proud of them. And I'm a girl which is way rarer than that. Many autistic girls get overlooked because they are more social and they mask their traits to fit in. I don't even have anything to mask. I always show off my interests (my images are mostly related to my interests). I've been in special classes where all my classmates are diagnosed with autism since I was in my first year of primary school. I'm still in one btw.
Yes you did. Women lactate apple sauce, don't you know? Pregnant women who have given birth before, start to lactate breast milk, but first timers lactate applesauce.
