She has a clean record

Nepal was a monarchy until 2001 when the royal family was massacred. After that it officially became a federal Democratic Republic. Recently there have been online discussions of overpaid politicians & their families living much better than regular people, like royalty. As a result the government banned social media. That was a big mistake; it led to protests in the streets all over the country. The parliament was dissolved & now Shushila Karki, the first woman Prime Minister, has taken over.
