Has it occurred to you that anything you set in motion will inevitably turned against you as well? The leftist authoritarians want to label anyone who wants to own a gun as being unstable or dangerous. The rightest authoritarians want to do the same thing...but they think somehow that the rules won't be applied to them.

Every time a shooting happens folks want to attribute the actions to a whole group. Well the shooters are a vanishingly small percentage of folks...and there's been a number of every possible group that has done these things. Stop letting your own biases create support for things that are harmful to all.

Except that these people are a very tiny minority of the population and yet in ratio to their numbers an extraordinarily huge number have turned out to be murderous whackos. If Biden had Catholics put on watchlists for merely speaking out against WOKE policies as they applied to children then this micro group of utter whackos certainly qualify for watching.

That aside I do not entirely disagree with you. It is a slippery slope. The trick with conservatives trying to clean up leftist horrors is that they can easily go too far. They do bear watching. Just as the left SHOULD have been watched and controlled . . . but were NOT.
