I was gifted Black Ops Cold War for Christmas in 2020, and while I had a great time with the zombies, I felt the need to go back and play the original rendition.
We still had my brother’s old PS3 with all the games in my parent’s basement, so I popped in COD: World at War, and realized I had to play the campaign first to unlock zombies. FINE. So I played the campaign and… I loved it. Every single piece of it.
I actually credit World at War for getting me into video games as I am now. When I played that campaign, I began to realize why people love single player games and the advantages to storytelling through interaction rather than with movies.
Also I finally unlocked zombies and that was great too.
